BCOP Guarantee Policy
Becoming a board-certified oncology pharmacist (BCOP) is a goal of many oncology pharmacists. Because this certification is incredibly valuable for a pharmacist’s career, there is a guarantee offered for the ELO Collaborative and ELO Certificate programs.
If you take the BCOP exam within one year of enrolling in the ELO Collaborative or ELO Certificate programs and you do not pass, you will continue to receive access to all the lesson content, community, and group calls until you do pass, up to 2 additional attempts. In addition, those in the ELO Certificate program will also receive an additional 3 coaching sessions to develop your strategy.
To qualify for the BCOP Guarantee, you must purchase an annual plan and be eligible to take the exam (as determined by BPS), go through each lesson in the program, attend at least 50% of the live case study walkthrough/Q&A calls, take the exam, and receive the results within one year of joining the program. Results are expected to take up to 60 days within the continuous testing window so please plan accordingly. If you do not pass, you must re-take the exam at least every 6 months to maintain access to the program. Please note, BPS allows 2 retake examinations with a minimum of 90 days and maximum of 200 days. If a passing score is not achieved after the 3rd attempt, you must wait 12 months before re-applying. The goal of this guarantee is to get you a passing BCOP score!
