My goal is to bring hope and optimism back to the pharmacy profession because everyone deserves access to specialty training that can transform their career.
After working in clinical practice, I took an unexpected career detour and now see the world of pharmacy through a different lens.

My Story
I am a residency-trained oncology pharmacist who practiced in a traditional clinical specialist role until I stumbled upon something different. My experiences have taught me the value of an oncology pharmacist and have shown me the need for knowledgeable pharmacists in many different cancer settings.
I have practiced in the extremes: from large academic medical centers to small community hospitals to the healthcare technology industry.
I have precepted and mentored students and residents in pharmacy, medicine, and nursing. I have served as a PGY1 program coordinator and a PGY2 oncology program director and have presented to local, regional, and national audiences.
Throughout all my experiences, I have come to learn these facts:
I love communicating complex medical topics in simple explanations and analogies that are easy to understand.
I enjoy connecting with other pharmacists, hearing their stories, and inspiring them toward their big audacious goals.
Oncology is rapidly growing and there are endless opportunities for pharmacists with this specialized knowledge.
